This transaction was a bit stressful. It has nothing to do with Stacy Mizzell. I was very disappointed in the Appraiser. He knew how Urgent it was to have the appraisal in on time because by buyer works out of town and could not take another day off of work. The appraiser would not return phone calls to the Mtg. Co. to give up dates. They finally received the appraisal the day we were suppose to close so of course we were not able to close because the appraisal was not in on time. Then on top of that the appraisal was cut $24,000.00 and we had no ideal that the house did not appraise. Instead of charging $475.00 for the FHA appraisal, The Appraiser charge $575.00 which I don't think he should have ever charged full price since he caused my clients more money by delaying the closing.
